Apply to be host WOF World
Championship 2011
According to report of WOF
Secretariat, General Office of
physical Education & Sport
departmnet of Hamedan and
Martial Arts Council of Hamedan
with O-Sport Association of I.R
of Iran, have presented
application hosting of WOF World
Championship 2011 and General
Assembly to competent officials
to study it and declare final
idea.
It must be said that WOF World
Championship 2011 will be held
with presence 50 countries and
1000 athletes approximately in
the newly- established named
Inghelab sport complex of
Hamedan city.
Already, O-Sport Association of
I.R of Iran had been hosted for
Asian O-Sport Championship
during 2008 to 2010 and now, for
the first time, it has applied
the hosting World Championship
2011 contemporary with WOF
General Assembly and the session
of WOF Board of Director.

Nateghi , the chairman of
organizing committee of O-Sport
Association of I.R of Iran
(OSAIRI), the 15th National
O-Sport championship of Iran was
held at the 4 age’s visions both
group of Male and Female during
22nd ~ 24th September 2010 with
attendance of 480 athletes from
27 teams in Kordestan Province
in the Bejar and Sanandag
cities, environs of Kordestan’
province at the 3 rings and one
tatami intention to selection of
team of Islamic Republic of Iran
to take parts in the 5th O-Sport
World Championships in Belgorod
City of Russia.
This event was more quantity and
quality than before national
tournament of OSAIRI. Finally
after 2 days of battle and
struggle between amateur
fighters for arriving to
championship status and cashed
prizes (1/000/000 and 500/000
Tomans), the Kordestan city took
first place and Hamedan Team
took second place and Qaznin
O-Sport team gained third Place
of 15th O-Sport championship’s
country.

The 3rd WOF Asian
Championship
This is for the second time that
O-Sport Association of Islamic
Republic of Iran takes hosting
of the WOF and FAOS Event.
The 2nd WOF Asian Championship
organized by patronage of
Martial Arts Federation of I.R.
Iran on October 2008 in Tehran,
during the World Martial Art
Festival.
This time, Hamedan the capital
of History and Civilization of
I.R. Iran is host of the 3rd WOF
Asian Championship in tow age
categories of juniors (14-17
years old) and seniors (18-35
years old) in 2 men and women
sections.
The 3rd WOF Asian Championship
will open in ring styles and in
a sport hall by capacity of 5000
spactators of Ebnesina in
Hamedan city on 27th April by
governor of Hamedan.
The first meeting of
Organization Committee of the
3rd WOF Asian Championship held
on 4th December 2009 in
Conference salon of Physical
Education Authority of Hamedan
by attendance of members of
committees.

to Busan on 20th May by
invitation of President of
Korean Martial Arts Council to
attend at 29th seniors Festival
that organized by SABA.
He had speech in Seniors
Assembly of Martial Arts during
his visit to Bussan.
The best product of the 25th May
meeting in SABA office was
closing the agreement between
Korean Martial Arts Council and
Oriental Sport Association of
Islamic Republic of Iran.
